Tryst with truth

Tryst with truth

Your ways of working - - the ways You mould us - - are really out of the world. And it seems to me that Your Plan for us dates back to the first step we take on this Earth - - regardless of when it was and whether we were associated then with what we think of as the physical entity that we address as ‘Baba’. Somehow… every step we take in life leads us to realise in some intangible way that it is You who have been guiding us across eons. As I write this, I am very conscious that I may be being very vague, but how can words ever attempt to describe the Unknown, yet Known, till such time we merge with That - - for You are an Experience in Ecstasy that is beyond verbal description.

You really give us a vast YôrdûL L[m and a free will to practise what we know - - and also what we know not….. While I quote my own experiences and what I have witnessed in the lives of so many, I know that this is true of every Samratchanite, and I hope to record their experiences too in this wonderful journal You have given us for our own benefit.

I took up graduation in English Literature, because I loved iterature and I wanted to get into Journalism as a profession. The impression I gained from reading various magazines was that there was no way any worldly journal would give that sort of a free hand that my independent spirit may want, and if something was not in good taste, the spirit in me would rebel almost immediately. [ What I think as ‘good taste’ may be perceived differently by worldly dictum, but ‘oorodu othu vaazh’ is (for me), either live in synchronicity with worldly regulations, or live in silence, not involving oneself with that particular aspect that may not gel with one’s conscience. I could in no way go against what my conscience dictates as right or not, for, You, my Master Planner, have taught us through life’s experiences, to be in tune with our conscience, every step of life.]

I needed to have something in hand to make a ‘worldly living’. Therefore I started studying computers too, alongside my literature graduation. And almost immediately after graduation, commenced my career in the Information Technology industry. It was when ‘I came to You’ (in terms of my association with Samratchana as an establishment, in the limited scope of words) that my graduation attained fruition, by getting an opportunity to serve in God’s Own Editorial Department! You truly are a Departmental Store, distributing free all the spiritual delicacies You own and also creating sub-stores where we are the owners of all that we do.

Only You have the guts to allow absolute novices into various ‘service careers’ (if I may call it that) that we have a liking for, give us the free will to grow at our own pace, and, Samratchana is one place where there is nothing that can ever clash with one’s spirit, for it is The Residential Home of spirits, not of physical personalities as such; Samratchana is God’s Own Corporate Workshop.

And You ensure in Your own mystical way, that we get to progress in whatever we choose, (it is our choice…. You never impose any service avenue on us, seriously Babs, if ever there was a Gentleman, it is You!), watch our progress, and over the years, when we compare ourselves with what we were, and what we are now - - though we have not yet reached God’s echelon of excellence - - we just cannot help being amazed that the progress is tremendous….. and yet, this is not the end of our abilities, that is true for sure, for we are containers that seem to grow in the capacity to assimilate what You bestow on us - - in the proportions that You render us capable of receiving , in the dosages that You decide we are capable of absorbing.

The Parent is always within reach, watching His toddler crawl, walk, run, and leap over boundaries, and emerge into a fully blossomed adult ….. later, the erstwhile infant realizes that it is the Parent that is taking every step... and perhaps sometime it will realize that the ‘Parent’ and the ‘child’ are one and the same…. The Parent is always within!

Life is so beautiful - - and all thanks to You!
